5.5 makes handicaps flexible: set, change, or remove a player’s handicap at any point during a game.
During a game, tap a player’s name on the scoreboard to open the Handicap editor. Add a handicap where there wasn’t one, change an existing one, or remove it entirely (clear the field or enter 0). The change applies immediately and that player’s score updates on the spot.
Handicapped players now show a subtle ”(+N)” next to their name — on the scoreboard and in the innings history, for both in-progress and finished games — so the spot is always visible.
If a handicap you set puts a player at or past the game’s point target, SPD asks whether to end the game or keep playing, exactly like reaching the target through scoring. Lower the handicap back below the target and play simply continues.
