General

It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our app.

Non-Personally-Identifying Information

For registered app users, we collect non-personally-identifying information like date and time of most recent app sync with the "back-end" (aka the Straight Pool Cloud), version of iOS the app is running on, etc. This information helps us understand how the app is used and helps ensure the best possible user experience. From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the app.

Personally-Identifying Information

Personally-identifying information is only collected for registered app users. Registration is optional (but required to "unlock" some features, like synchronization across iPads). We will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. We discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of ourselves, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of the app, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with the app and our products.

Registered user passwords are stored encrypted on the iPad and in the Straight Pool Cloud. All communication between your device and the Straight Pool Cloud is over a secure encrypted channel (https).

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, we may change the Privacy Policy from time to time, and at our sole discretion. Your continued use of this app after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
